IMPLANTS
Many people experience tooth loss but don’t like the idea of wearing a denture or having to drill multiple teeth to make a bridge. Dental implants could be the solution.
An extremely realistic, long-lasting option for tooth replacement, implants are metal titanium screws inserted into the jaw bone on top of which sits a tooth restoration.
Dental implants are considered by many to be the gold standard for tooth replacement. All our implant surgeries are done in-house by our qualified oral and implant surgeon, Ben.
IMPLANT PROCESS
Implants can take anywhere from 12 to 18 months to complete, depending on your body's healing process. At West Grove, we aim to provide the best quality care we can and therefore, unfortunately, we do not provide “one-day implants”.
We believe that allowing the implant to fuse with the bone fully before adding the extra weight of restoration is crucial for the longevity of the implants.
IMPLANT SUITABILITY
Most people are good candidates for dental implants; however, you will need to come to the surgery for an implant consultation before work can be started. This is to assess things like your bone levels which may change how we treat you for implants.
Implants can be used to replace any amount of missing teeth from one single tooth right up to a wholearch.
