Attending West Grove Dental Surgery
During the Coronavirus pandemic
PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT
Please be aware that patients will not be allowed to enter the building without an appointment.
Appointments need to be booked by telephone or email.
Medical histories or any other paperwork requiring updating or additional signatures will be emailed for completion.
The use of the toilet facilities will be limited so please try to use a toilet if possible before your visit.
Please attend alone (unless discussed with reception beforehand).
You will be contacted by a member of staff 24 hours before your appointment time so that we can ask you some Covid-19 screening questions.
AT YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME
Make reception staff aware of your arrival either by telephone or knocking on the door or window as the surgery door will be locked.
Upon entry, we will check your temperature and ask you to sanitise your hands.
Additional Covid-19 questions will be asked and will be documented on your record on your date of attendance.
To comply with the 2 metre distancing, access to reception will be limited.
You will be escorted by a member of staff to your designated treatment room.
All staff will be wearing appropriate PPE dependant upon what treatment you will be receiving.
COMPLETION OF TREATMENT
You will be escorted from the treatment room by a staff member.
If a further appointment is required our reception staff will arrange this from behind our protective screens.
Finally, you will be escorted from the building by a member of staff.
