Welcome to Nicola Taaffe @ West Grove, Proprietor Nicola Taaffe has been in practice in Cardiff for 20 years and has undertaken numerous coursed during her dental career to continue her professional development.
As you browse our website you will find that it answers a number of questions you may have about our dental surgery. It is our purpose and desire to make your visit as pleasant and beneficial as possible.
Dentistry is the health speciality that deals with the problems involving the teeth, bones, joints, glands and soft tissues of the mouth. If your problems fall outside the scope of our practice, we will be glad to assist you in finding the service of an appropriate specialist.

Nicola Taaffe BDS
Principle Dentist
I qualified as a Dentist in 1988. I moved to Cardiff to work in 1992 and took over the practice in 1995. I relocated the practice from City Road in 2007. I am registered with the General Dental Council and a member of the British Dental Association. I have a special interest in treating nervous patients.
Cath RDN
Practice Manager
I joined Nicola Taaffe in 2002 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2004. I am registered with the GDC and BADN. I have been Practice Manager since 2006 and have completed a post graduate course in practice management.
Karen RDN
Dental Nurse
I joined the practice in 1999 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2002. I am registered with the GDC and a member of the BADN.
Nicola RDN
Dental Nurse
I joined the practice in 2005 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2009. I am registered with the GDC.
Debbie RDN
Dental Nurse
I joined the practice in December 2006 and qualified as a dental nurse in July 2009. I am a member of the BADN and registered with the GDC.
Disabled Access
Our practice is situated over two floors. One with full wheelchair access.
Sports Mouthguards
Tailor made sports mouthguards available in a range of colours. These are very useful to prevent trauma to the teeth in many contact sports.
